10 may 2013 - Portland, arriving at Marquam Hill. This aerial tramway was built by Doppelmay with cars built by Gangloff. It connects two campuses of the Oregon Health & Sciences University. These are actually two cable lines built next to each other, with a car on each meeting the other half way. The route is 1km long and 150m high with a 3 minute one way travel time. The cable car on the northern line is called Jean after Jean Richardson, the first female engineering graduate from Oregon State University. The car on the southern line is called Walt after Walt Reynolds, the first black graduate from OHSU. Stratovolcano Mount Hood is in the background standing at 11,249ft.
