Why did you change these from Volvo 8700, which was correct, to Volvo 8700LE, which is clearly not correct at all? I had already confirmed them last year. If the bus to the right in the picture is former #0484, I`m surprised that it could even be mistaken for being a LE.
The buses were btw first used in Oppland, for example on the route between Gjøvik and Hønefoss (in Buskerud). When Nobina lost the traffic there to Nettbuss Øst in 2011/2012, they were moved to Vestfold, until Nobina lost that traffic too in the summer of 2014.
Then you had hold of customs and tax in Denmark and ask them and correct information about the bus .... And then I had found information from!
I regret the inconvenience.
One should never ever fully trust car registration authorities or customs on details like that. Information there is often registered by people with little or no knowledge of bus models. The only information there we can trust is things like chassisnumber/VIN (mostly, but not always!), registration dates and so on. And what model name is used is so inconsistent, I never really care what they say. For example in Norway a large number of Mercedes-Benz 615D and 815D were registered as 614D and 814D, as they apparently weren`t aware of the obvious technical difference in the name. (14 = 136 hp, 15 = 150 hp) So new model changes are very often wrong, because people don`t know that there is a difference. Sometimes buses are even registered with the previous model`s technical data, but that`s not very common. Some of the wrong information is often provided by the local importer/reseller, so the only truly reliable sources are the actual manufacturers.
