In Soviet times anything was possible. Especially when all the spare parts in 1990-1991 were sold only for foreign currencies like USD...
Henrik, do you have also photos from Estonia from that period?
The fleet list for Riga appears to be very complete. However I have a T3 from 1991 with the number 4-1519, which does not appear to be here. It belonged to the depot in Tipogrāfijas iela
@Georg: yes, of course, as I mentioned under the other photo, the transitional period of 1990-91 was very tough for the three Baltic states. I frequently visited Vilnius during that time and even though I was an 8-year old kid, I remember some of the hardship - e.g. US dollar serving as the actual currency for trading anything more valuable than bread and milk.
@Henrik: it`s not complete - we need to add all pre-Tatra vehicles and Skoda 9Trs Here is the 4-1519: http://phototrans.eu/15,520263,389.html
I added 9Tr so far. Similarly as in Vilnius, some data on depot assignment digits ("1-" or "2-") might be missing - use the three-digit vehicle number when searching. I`ll try to add the tram data whenever possible. Unfortunately, there isn`t much information available on Ikaruses - add it with the question marks, and we`ll see if we can figure out anything more.
I have some data of Ikarus buses in Riga but I don`t know how would be best to add them. Before Rigas Satiksme was organised, the Talava and Imanta bus depots were separate companies.
Yes, I`ve been thinking about adding Imanta and Talava to the database. Now it`s much easier to update the information for all the buses purchased prior to the formation of RS. Do you know if these depots existed as separate companies during the Soviet period, or was there another company like ATP Riga?

"1992. gadā tika reorganizēts valsts uzņēmums "Rīgas autobusu parks", kā rezultātā Rīgas pilsētas pasažieru pārvadāšanai tika izveidoti divi pašvaldības uzņēmumi - autobusu parki "Imanta" un "Tālava"."
As it is said here, those two depots were one big Rigas autobusu parks until depots were separated in 1992.
As you noticed, Imanta, Talava, and RAP are now added to our list. I`ll edit all modern buses (Mercedes, Solaris, Ikarus EAG). If you have any information on the retired vehicles from the past, like Ikarus 260/280, it would be great to enter it. Fotobus provides quite limited information.
