31 october 2007 - Burgas, Bulgaria. A pigpen on the line 16 is just leaving the stop in front of the Old Post. This Ikarus pacifically is very interesting for me. I've never seen it on other lines. It's always on 16, all though in a site there's a picture of it with table with number 8. This bus is available every weekday on this line from many years and even sometimes it takes all the runs for the day, but with different drivers. Eight runs about two hours each are really a challenge. And you can't confuse it with other Ikaruses, because this is the only Ikarus 260 from East Germany in Burgas. And I ask myself every day whether it's an original 260 or it's a cut 280 (look at the writings on the grille). And it's amazingly fast for an Ikarus. BTW, it was yellow before being repainted. As for the line 16 it's going to the villages Cherni Vrah, Polski Izvor & Trastikovo after crossing the half of Burgas, so I often use it to go home :)

25 october 2007 - Płowdiw, pl. Filipowo. Skoda, ktora takze utknela w zatrzymaniu. Po zrobieniu zdjęcia wóz zniknąl nam na dwie godziny. Widać, część tras też musi być przejezdna i są wykorzystywane jako awaryjne.

25 october 2007 - Plovdiv, Dunav. Pierwszy trolejbus jakim jechaliśmy po przejechaniu kilku przystanków utknął w zatrzymaniu. "Napriażenija niet" - usłyszeliśmy. Brak prądu był dobą okazją do pociągnięcia kierowcy za język. Podobno tragiczna sytuacja w trolejubsach ma trwać tylko do wyborów, później ma być lepiej. Znów ma byc 15 linii (podobno tyle było jeszcze jakieś 4 miesiące temu). Z 2 zajezdni czynna jest tylko jedna, bo tamtą celowo odcięto od miasta niszcząc sieć. Za wszystkim podobno stoi lobby busiarskie... Ile w tym prawdy?

25 october 2007 - Płowdiw, Dymitr Stambołow. Jeszcze jedno zdjęcie dziadka - czternastki. Wg zeznań kierowcy, na "trójce" - jedynej trolejbusowej linii, jeździ 5 wozów. Kiedyś podobno jeżdziło 10. 5 pojazdów pozwala utrzymać +/- 20min częstotliwość kursowania. Czas pełnego kursu wynosi 80 minut. W dniu naszej wizyty wiidzeliśmy 8 wozów - możliwe, że na drugą zmianę wyjechały po prostu inne maszyny.

25 october 2007 - Plovdiv, bul. Car Boris III Osvoboditiel'. Trolejbus wyjechał właśnie z tunelu pod starówką. Wóz wprawdzie może "nie wyjściowy", ale za to rarytasik - na moje oko na jakaś wczesna wersja "czternastek" - wskazują na to kwadratowe okna.

25 october 2007 - Plovdiv, bul. Dynav / Pobieda. Myślę, że dziś jet dobry dzień na fotkę z reaktywacji. Trolejbusy w Plovdiv żyją! Kursuje wprawdzie tylko jedna linia, ale podobno ma być lepiej. W tym 350 tysiecznym mieście sieć przewodów (nie zawsze to już można nazwać trakcją) jest bardzo gęsta. Oprócz tego jeździł jeszcze jeden ZIU - 321. Dziewiątki podobno skończyły jeździć 3-4 miesiące temu.

30 october 2007 - Burgas, Bulgaria. We call this Ikarus "Chernev" because of its advertisement. It is the silentest bus out of this Hungarian brand in Burgas. The picture was taken in the garage of Burgasbus opertator where not many people are allowed to go in.

The only O405 of "Burgasvolan" is standing just for a photo session at my favorite bus station near "Billa", where I can shoot lots of buses :) It's a shame that the car wash is an expensive luxury for the buses in Burgas. The strange thing about this bus is that its gearbox is manual and the engine sounds just like the one of O305! BTW, the line 25 goes to a quarter named "Dolno Ezerovo".
